A leading provider of hose and drogue Air-to-Air Refuelling (AAR) and Actuation systems is seeking skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team in Wimborne supporting aftermarket activities. This role involves optimizing mechanical MRO processes and providing technical assistance to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Manufacturing Engineering tasks within the MRO facility, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Interpret maintenance data to create manufacturing instructions.
- Provide technical advice and assistance on projects.
- Analyze manufacturing problems and provide solutions to the shop floor team.
- Generate and maintain master routings and bills of material.
- Review and action engineering change notifications.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team and external suppliers.
- Identify tooling requirements and implement solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
Qualifications:
- HNC/HND in Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, ideally within aerospace.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems (essential).
- Experience with PPAP/APQP (desirable).
- Health and Safety Qualification (desirable).
- Continuous Improvement Certification (desirable).
