Electronics Technician

Job Location:Ferndown, Dorset

Salary:£15.00 - £18.00 per hour, depending on experience + excellent benefits

Hours:37 hours per week,Monday Thursday 7.30am 4pm & Friday 7.30am 1.00pm

We are working alongside an Electro-Mechanical Manufacturer who are part of a global group to recruit 2 additional Electronics Technicians / Engineers.

Due to an increase in workload & new contracts coming in, the company are looking to increase their Electronics team over the next 12 months. In doing so they are initially looking to recruit for 2 staff to join the team.

You will be part of a hardworking, friendly and dedicated team working on high value products for various applications.

Within this role you will be taking apart products, replacing parts, rebuilding and undertaking test & inspection of finished products.

Duties will include;

Electro mechanical assembly

Producing quality finished components & assemblies

Soldering

Component level repair

Working to drawings or manufacturing

Test & inspection

The successful candidate will possess;

Formal qualifications; City & Guilds, ONC, HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent, or time served experience within electronics is desirable

Experience of component and final product testing

Good level of soldering experience

Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications

Able to use computers for logging work
