Production Supervisor
Job Location:Wimborne, Dorset
Job Type:Permanent
Salary:£30,000 - £35,000 per annum (Salary depending on level of experience)
Hours:37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm & Friday 8am 1pm

A global manufacturer in Wimborne who build special purpose equipment for the aerospace industry are looking to recruit a Production Supervisor to join their team.
The company has always had an excellent reputation within the industry with them growing year on year. Due to winning additional business and new contracts, they are having to add to their team.
This period and the coming years ahead are exciting times for the company, so much so they are looking for talented Production Supervisor to join them to help them with the demand for their products.
This is a great opportunity to work on leading projects within the aerospace industry.
Your role will see you being hands in the day-to-day duties whilst helping to oversee the team in your cell. You will be allocating work, checking correct work is being carried out as per build instructions to meet production demands.

Some of your duties will include:
Overseeing a team of technicians & assemblers including allocating work, managing work output, providing additional training and being a point of support.
Ensuring that production processes are in line with company and regulatory requirements
Accurately completing all necessary documentation
Reporting on production activities to management
Ensuring the team adhere to health and safety practices
We also ask that you have the following key capabilities/knowledge:
Formal electronics qualifications is preferred but qualified by experience will also be accepted
Ability to read and interpret electronics drawings
Experience of undertaking electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, testing & inspection
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office
A helpful can-do attitude
