Project Manager (6 month fixed term contract)

Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager on a 1 year fixed term contract.

The Role:

To lead and direct all project management activities required to deliver customer contracts on time in full to budget; developing tools and processes designed to ensure all business targets and objectives are achieved.

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of contracts according to customer needs and business objectives
  • Leading and developing the Contracts Team, managing and improving performance
  • Control contract costs /scope ensuring cross functional teams are aware of budgets
  • Monitor and accurately forecast contract margins
  • Accurately forecast monthly revenue
  • Ensure adherence to contractual specification/scope/timescales to avoid contractual disputes
  • Lead process development ensuring cross functional teams have understanding and buy-in
  • Work with cross functional teams to develop/maintain Capacity Plan / Master Schedule
  • Compiling reports on progress, goals, costs and forecasts and clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, trusted customer relationships to increase revenue for the


The Candidate: -

  • Project Management/ Contracts Management experience
  • MS Project experience ideal
  • Experience setting up projects and dealing with different teams
  • Manufacturing/Engineering or install background
