We are looking for an experienced assistant cafe manager to join an established and successful company owned high street food retail shop & cafe in Wimborne.

They serve an all day fresh range of bakery items alongside patisserie, pastries and cakes in the cafe and to take away.

Assistant Manager - is this you?

  • Experience as an assistant restaurant/cafe/coffee shop/cafe bakery/catering manager in a busy, fast paced commercial customer facing operation. Or a strong supervisor looking to step up.
  • A passion for high quality food and drink & exceptional customer service
  • Excellent supervisory skills
  • A hands-on lead from the front approach and a real eye for detail
  • An understanding of cost, budget and wastage controls

Assistant Manager - main duties

  • Manage all day to day operations alongside the manager, including people, stocks & finances
  • Train and develop your team
  • Work in a hands-on capacity leading from the front
  • Maintain high standards of customer service & compliance
