REED Accountancy and Finance are working exclusively and behalf of a Forward Thinking Accountancy Practice (established 10 years ago), who are recruiting for an ambitious and experienced Accounts Senior.

Accounts Senior 

Salary £55,000 - £65,000 per annum

Full Time (preferred), although part time will be considered 

Hybrid / flexible working offered 

ACA / ACA Qualified essential 

Role Description

  • The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks and client management, including financial statement preparation, tax returns, and client communication. They will also handle tax planning and compliance, as well as provide guidance to junior accountants.
  • Managing the staff team (3) 
  • Opportunity to grow the team, recruit for a trainee and support their development 
  • Opportunity to participate in the growth of the business and business plan alongside the current Director

Qualifications

  • ACA / ACCA Qualified / Part Qualified
  • Accountancy Practice experience - at least 3 - 5 years
  • Experience in tax planning and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software
