The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Duty Manager to work with the current management team in the School’s Sports Centre.

The Sports Centre supports the teaching staff in the promotion of fitness and sport to the school pupils and also provides an excellent facility for members of the public. The Duty Managers are responsible for leading a small team and ensuring the efficient and professional operation of the centre for all users.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A passion for sport and fitness together with experience of working in a similar facility is essential as is a sound understanding for health & safety and safeguarding.
  • Applicants should be hard working with an eye for detail, possess excellent communication and administrative skills and demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
  • Experience of managing staff would be advantageous.
  • A relevant fitness qualification and an NPLQ are also essential
