Head Chef

Location: Wimborne Minster

Salary: £40,000 per annum + excellent benefits package

The Role

An experienced Head Chef is required to lead their busy, dedicated team responsible for preparing meals for pupils, staff and visitors to the school. During term-time the kitchens prepare meals for up to 1000 people, 7 days per week.

In addition, the catering team also prepare and present high quality menus for various internal events and external lets and functions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Applicants must have a robust approach to managing allergens and other HSE requirements, with excellent team management skills.
  • You will also be hard working and committed to providing an exemplary catering service.
  • An NVQ / BTEC Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) is essential
  • Previous experience in a similar environment would be an advantage as well as any management or leadership qualifications
