Blaymires Recruitment is representing a leading design and build contractor based near Ringwood, Hampshire who is searching for a Design Manager to join the business.

As an industry leader within the modular build sector, they work across various sectors, from MoD, Education to Healthcare and Residential.
Key Responsibilities:
- As the Design Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the design team, overseeing design development from concept to construction phases.
- Ensure the integration of sustainability and innovative design practices into all projects.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop creative and efficient solutions.
- Review and evaluate design concepts, plans, and specifications to ensure alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
- Establish and maintain quality control and design management procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior design role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software and other related tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- A commitment to sustainability and innovative design practices.

Hours:
- Mon - Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm.
- Fridays working from home - 8.30am - 1.00pm
