Part-Time Credit Controller required for a long-established business in Wimborne. The successful candidate will be confident and have an outgoing personality. You will be able to maintain a friendly and professional manner, with a strong emphasis on providing the highest levels of customer care. You must be able to work well on your own and within the wider Finance team and use your own initiative. The successful candidate will have a passion for Credit Control with a minimum of 5 years' experience. You will have excellent customer service skills and be able to demonstrate your commitment to deliver high standards of accuracy in all aspects of the role.Key duties

  • Monitoring aged debtors by sending reminders and following up overdue accounts by telephone and email.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all transactions and communications with clients regarding their accounts.
  • Running month end sales ledger procedures and reconciliations.
  • Entering sales receipts.
  • Running monthly statements of account.
  • Calculating and monitoring standing orders.
  • Agreeing payment plans with clients.
  • Applying for County Court Judgments (CCJ's)
  • Communicating with High Court Enforcement for debt claims.
  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve queries.
  • Preparing regular reports on outstanding debts and holding meetings with Directors on at least a quarterly basis for review.
  • Processing credit/debit card payments.

Qualifications and skills

  • Any relevant finance qualification a bonus but not essential
  • Minimum 5 years Credit Controll experience within a professional office environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritise workloads

Hours, Pay and Benefits

  • Circa £30k PRO-RATA.
  • 4 days per week, Monday to Thursday, 1 day at home after probation
  • Death in Service
  • Private Medical subject to capping systems
  • Paid parking close to office
  • Paid overtime if required
  • 4 weeks holiday (pro-rata) plus bank holidays, goes up after service
  • Annual employee team bonus
