Our client is one of the leading UK suppliers of forklift trucks for businesses and also designing storage systems. They have provided bespoke and often highly imaginative material handling solutions. They are looking for a Warranty & Service Administrator to join the team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurate and timely completion for submitting claims to manufacturers
  • Investigate rejected claims, recharge or invoice at our cost
  • Query unsettled or short paid claims
  • Process warranty jobs to completion on our systems
  • Liaise with our field based and workshop engineers to give guidance on warranty work
  • Identify parts for return or disposal, record and control
  • Arrange jobs for manufacturer campaigns and follow up
  • Have a good understanding of various manufacturer’s warranty policies
  • Monitor profitability
  • Follow up routine estimates on a daily basis by email or phone
  • Follow-up high value and safety related estimates by email or phone
  • Review all Thorough Examination Reports
  • Request estimates for any chargeable repairs
  • Authorise repairs (where appropriate) for work covered within an all-inclusive maintenance or hire agreement
  • Provide back up and support to our Customer Support Desk and a carry out Job Invoicing as required

KEY SKILLS

  • Experience within a warranty administrator role/service type administration
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Good skills in Microsoft Excel & Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
