About the roleThis is a unique role for a Production Operative to join our Pre Installed Configuration (PIC) team to assist in the set-up in the configuration, assembly & packing of our water dispenser products. You'll ensure the production assembly line is stocked and operated to ensure correct configuration is met in accordance to the product specification of our high quality Dispenser products, through regular process control checks.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday 9 - 5

The day to day responsibilities will be

  • Ensure all dispenser products are pre-configured to customer/end user specification requirements in accordance with product compliance standards & requirements.
  • Monitor the work standards & practices and complete end-of-line testing to identify problems to ensure an out of box failure rate (OoBF) of >95%.
  • Solicit feedback from internal/external customers to assess whether their requirements are met.
  • Ensure that continuous production is maintained wherever possible, by undertaking equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning in accordance with instructions.
  • Carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract requirements and associated systems, maintaining accurate process data/records/documentation.
  • Report problems/failures that may impact the organisation and/or its clients/customers to the Line Manager.
  • Fix minor issues that may arise with the production line and trouble-shoot when production issues occur, and escalate to the Line Manager when production issues occur that cannot be resolved by you.
  • Operate equipment safely and in accordance with all instruction and guidelines, including health and safety, wearing any Personal Protective Equipment supplied as instructed
  • Undertake any additional ad hoc duties as requested by your line manager.

To be successful in this role...

  • You'll have at least 2 Years technical experience gained in a field engineering and/or serial production assembly line environment, preferably within the Vending, Manufacturing or White Goods industry
  • Be IT literate with experience in either SAP or similar SMT
  • Have the ability to work autonomously, working in accordance to set parameters
  • In date Fork lift licence
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable to work within a small, busy & collaborative team of 2
