Warehouse Administrator

Location: FerndownHours: Monday to Friday - 40 HoursSalary: Circa £27kOur client based in Ferndown has an immediate requirement for an experienced Warehouse Administrator to join their well-established, family-owned business.This is a varied role with a blend of computer and manual tasks that will include the following:

  • Placing orders with suppliers to meet ordering deadlines.
  • Checking order confirmations for accuracy and ensuring errors are corrected prior to despatch.
  • Advising the Sales Team of any delays to orders
  • Dealing with supplier returns in a timely manner.
  • Agree credit terms with suppliers.
  • Using forklift truck to unload deliveries.
  • Checking off goods received into branch & picking of stock items.
  • Packing outgoing parcels and arranging courier collection of these
  • Dealing with customer collections and loading into vehicles
  • Occasional deliveries to local customers in the company van
  • Ensuring showroom displays are current and in good condition.
  • Responsible for ensuring all POS information is up to date.

We are looking for someone with great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and multi-task. Attention to detail is key to achieving a high level of accuracy and to ensure that orders are correct and reach customers on time. The role will involve physical work and manual handling, so you must be prepared to lift and move items in the workshop and into customers’ homes on occasions.A full driver’s licence is essential, and experience of driving transit style vans would be a distinct advantage.A current counterbalance forklift licence would be preferred but is not essential as training can be provided.For more information, please contact Jon at Mploy
