Planning Coordinator, Full Time, Office based. £26,000 to £27,000 per annum

A thriving engineering business based on Ferndown Industrial Estate are looking to recruit a Planning Coordinator to work on the busy front desk and take ownership of initial jobs from Good in's through to the start of the production process.

This is a busy, fast paced administration and customer service role which is a pivotal part of the process and requires a high degree of organisation and attention to detail

Duties will include:-

  • Entering each new job on to the system making sure that each section of the job card is filled out accurately and correctly.
  • Using companies Bespoke engineering system to ensure the correct process's are set up for production to follow.
  • Conduction a contract review to establish risk factors of a given job
  • Scheduling work into a fast paced production environment
  • Liase with production to ensure lead times are being followed and keep customer updated accordingly
  • Advising new customers of the lead times, pricing system and offering a "Express system"
  • Dealing with calls from existing customers to advise on the status of their work and advising of any delays or hold up's
  • Dealing with customers coming into the business on a face to face basis and demonstrating a polite and personable first impression of the business
  • Booking out completed jobs and arranging couriers as needed or pallet collection.

You will need to be able to multi task and work in a pressurised and busy environment. You will have exceptional organisation and customer service skills

You will need experience working in a busy office role and previous knowledge of manufacturing process's would be beneficial but is not essential as full training will be provided

This is a full time role working Mon-Thurs 8-4pm, Friday 8-1pm, 37 hours per week. Time and a half paid after 37 hours.

Due to location you will need your own transport - free onsite parking
