The successful Technical Support Manager will report directly into the Operational Technical Manager and will work alongside the QA Manager ensuring all food safety and quality standards are met at the site. This is a newly created role working for a company with both a family feel and a professional work ethic who pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service and their excellent staff retention rates. 聽This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking for a new role that will offer them development and career progression 聽 Technical Support Manager Main Duties and Responsibilities:路Promoting a strong food safety culture across the site 路Driving site compliance to certification requirements, customer codes of practice and BRCGS 路Assisting the Site Management Team in writing procedures and operating instructions for the site 路Assisting the Site Management Team in ensuring training needs are assessed and met 路Monitor and report on Technical Department KPIs and preparing periodic reports 路Assisting in management of site complaints and feedback to customers 路Carry out site audits as part of the internal audit programme and follow up with teams with improvement actions plans in place 路Carry out GMP, hygiene, housekeeping and fabrication audits and identify areas of improvement 路Carry out non-conformance investigations and assisting in resolutions 路Liaise with cross-functional teams (production, engineering, quality) to resolve technical issues. 路Developing a culture of always maintaining good GMP. 路Exploring innovative ways of driving improved site performance 路Assist in conducting GAP analysis on customer codes of practices and standards, identify gaps and areas of improvement 聽 Key skills required for the Technical Support Manager role:路Relevant Technical / Quality Management experience within production environments in the food industry. 路Practical experience of BRC accreditation, HACCP, facilitation of customer audits and quality system management. 路Degree qualification in food science or equivalent - Desirable 路Excellent people management & communication skills. 路A recognised Food hygiene qualification. 聽 In return the successful Technical Support Manager will be working for a growing and successful, award-winning food manufacturer.聽 You will earn a competitive salary of between 拢40 - 45k DOE + Excellent Benefits 聽 This role is commutable from Frome, Trowbridge, Salisbury, Wells, Wincanton, Shepton Mallet, Yeovil, Dorchester, Chard and surrounding areas 聽 Key word search - Quality Manager, Quality supervisor, Technical Team Manager.
