Automotive Technician - URGENT!

Automotive & HGV Technician

Wincanton

£35k - £48k depending on experience

Mon Fri No weekends (full time or part time basis to suit your availability, minimum 4 days per week)

The Client:

They lead the market in offering specialist, eco-friendly transport services, dedicated to minimizing the environmental footprint of each move. Their goal is to innovate within the industry and set the standard for environmentally friendly transport. We now looking for a superstar from Apprentice level looking for a step up OR a proven, time served technician.

Role Summary:

We're looking for an enthusiastic, experienced mechanic to join their team, keeping the fleet of vehicles on the road, covering everything from cars, small vans and machinery, up to 18.5m road trains.

While the job is based at the Wincanton HQ, you may occasionally be required to work at depots in Salisbury & Farnborough.

Must have;

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience working with HGV or large vehicles.
• Mechanical BTEC, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or a minimum of 5 years experience in vehicle maintenance.
• Welding skills.

Ideal (but not essential);

• Diagnostics experience.
• Class 1 or Class 2 Licence.
• Fibreglass repairs.
• Spray painting.

• Salary from c£35k - £48k depending on experience
• Training to enhance your skillset.
• Monday to Friday (no weekends).
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays.
