Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm (Fri 6am-1pm)

Mon-Thurs 2pm-10pm (Fri 1pm-8pm)

Mon -Thurs 10pm-6am (Fri 8pm-3am)

HRGO Recruitment are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our clients on a temp to perm basis as a Cold Store Operative. Our clients are 4th generation cheese makers who offer exceptional cheddar. The successful candidate will be required to wrap pallets, load lorries and stock take.

General Duties:

  • Loading lorries and completing dispatch documentation.
  • Wrapping full pallets of product using automated pallet wrapping machine.
  • Preparing various sales orders for dispatch.
  • Supplying pallet bases into and clearing completed pallets of finished product from production lines in a timely fashion to ensure smooth running of production department.
  • Stock-taking and stock rotation duties.
  • Use hand scanners (full training provided)

Role requirements:

  • Good communication skills will be a necessity to be able to easily communicate with other departments, planning team and management.
  • Basic computer skills would be an advantage but full training on our systems will be given.
  • Full FLT licence or previous experience preferred but not required as full training can be provided
  • Safety boots required (but all other PPE provided)
