Description
- Assist in the planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment.
- Support with the preparation of financial statements, reports and records by collecting, analysing and summarising information.
- Contribute to financial audits by analysing and verifying information.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Assist in presenting audit findings and recommend improvements to management.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain and improve client relationships.
- Stay updated with changes in relevant legislation and accreditation requirements.
- Support with other accounting projects as needed.
Profile
A successful Audit Assistant should have:
- AAT Qualified or working towards ACCA or ACCA Qualification.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced professional services environment.
