An exciting opportunity for an International Tax Accountant to join an esteemed Accounting & Finance team in the FMCG industry.

Client Details

Our client is a multinational FMCG corporation, recognised as a large organisation globally. They have established their presence in the industry through their commitment to quality and innovation.

Description

  • Managing the company's tax planning strategies and compliance with regulations.
  • Support and assist the Tax Team Lead in the provision of accurate tax advice to internal partners (e.g., Finance, Legal, HR, Treasury etc) in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Support and assist the Tax Team Lead in the undertaking of reviews of revenue streams and other matters to ensure tax compliance throughout the Group.
  • Providing tax advice and guidance on business decisions and strategy.
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns and reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Liaising with international branches to ensure uniformity in tax practices.
  • Assessing potential tax risks and formulating mitigation strategies.
  • Engaging and maintaining relationships with external tax advisors and authorities.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect the company.
  • Participating in ad hoc finance projects as required.

Profile

A successful 'International Tax Accountant' should have:

  • Relevant educational qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proficiency in tax software and databases.
  • Strong understanding of international tax laws, regulations and transfer pricing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
