Great opportunity for a structural engineer who has at least 2 years' design experience within a UK consultancy to join this established and growing practice and benefit from the involvement of a Director on every project.
Their offices work completely collaboratively and no 2 days will be the same, but you will bring a personal and approachable service to your role. The team works on a diverse project portfolio across sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial, residential, and more. Your Responsibilities:
- Continue your professional growth
- Perform engineering analysis and design calculations using advanced software
- Create detailed structural and civil engineering drawings/models with AutoCAD or Revit
- Contribute to working groups (BIM, Sustainability, IT, etc.)
- Attend design team meetings, both remotely and on-site, building relationships with clients
Requirements:
- BEng, BSc, MEng, or MSc in Civil/Structural Engineering (ICE approved)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Local Authority, consultancy, or design office
- Strong knowledge of steel, masonry, timber, and concrete design to Eurocodes
- Experience with structural analysis software
- Familiarity with BIM and its role in construction is a plus
- Ambition to achieve CEng status
