Architect Job in Winchester, Hampshire

Architect job now available in Winchester, Hampshire! This expanding practice provides opportunities for career progression, professional development, and flexible or hybrid working arrangements. With several long-term Hi- residential and conservation projects underway, they are currently looking for an Architect or experienced Part II Architectural Assistant to join their team.

With their projects being featured in a number of industry and lifestyle publications on a regular basis, the practice's portfolio of projects ranges from beautiful historical buildings and private homes to commercial properties and interiors in the UK and internationally.

Due to new major conservation projects, they are seeking an Architect or an experienced Part II Architectural assistant with excellent technical ability and residential experience to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work on bespoke, high-end conservation and heritage projects throughout the UK and internationally
  • Work on the production of working drawing packages
  • Produce detailed hand drawings
  • Detailing joinery drawings
  • Scheduling
  • Carry out project research
  • Speaking with and dealing with clients, including site visits and surveys
  • Working under the Project Lead.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in traditional-styled residential projects
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the UK
  • Ability to use ArchiCAD beneficial but not essential
  • Contract administration and technical knowledge
  • Passion for classical and traditional architecture
  • Experience in the preservation and refurbishment of historic buildings is highly advantageous
  • Experience on bespoke residential is beneficial.
