Your new companyYou will be working for a large education facility in Winchester located near the train station.
Your new roleWe are looking for someone to join the large Estates team who look after the attractive grounds and many buildings. You will be on a rotating shift pattern, which will include evenings. This will be discussed further at an interview.
You will also be required to join a rota to cover some Saturdays, for which additional hours will be paid, as well as on-call commitment.
Duties will include locking and unlocking buildings, undertaking internal and external maintenance, porterage, driving and other duties as required to keep the buildings and grounds in good state.
What you'll need to succeedYou must be physically fit to undertake manual work.
Experience in a maintenance role would be helpful, but above all, we are looking for someone with a cheerful and 'can-do' attitude, who is ready and able to learn.
A driving licence would be desirable again, not essential.
You will need to complete a DBS check.What you'll get in return
Rate £11.59 to £11.81 per hour
