Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting for a experienced Class 1 Driver. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting timber products to various locations, ensuring that deliveries are completed efficiently and safely.
About our Class 1 Driving role:
- 6-month contract with an opportunity of a perm role at the end
- Work between Monday to Friday (no weekends)
- Can be working between 1-5 days a week
- Collections and deliveries of Timber
- Driving a Class 1 curtainsider
- Deliveries around the South Coast and Midlands area- goods are forklifted off
- Collecting timber from docks or from timber production warehouses
What we require from you as a Class 1 Driver:
- Full UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- 1 year experience driving Class 1 vehicle is required
- Previous experience in similar role is beneficial
- Strapping experience
- Own transport to commute to and from work is essential
- Great timekeeping and customer service skills
