My client are market leaders in the fuel industry working with mission critical facilities to ensure resilience across all of their sites.
They are looking for an enthusiastic Fuel Engineer to join their team. As a Fuel Engineer you will have an understanding of fuel systems and how they work, types of fuel contamination and how it affects fuel quality and previous experience of working in confined spaces.
This role will require the candidate to have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. You must be an excellent communicator.
As a Fuel Engineer, you will be required to travel across the UK and voluntarily across parts of Europe so a driving license is essential. My client are require candiadtes to ideally be within 1 hour from their depot in Popham Airfield. Although this is an on the road position, my client could request candiates to come into the office a couple of times a year
Core business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with 1 hour lunch break unpaid. There are usually early starts and some late finishes as well as the occasionally weekend work available on a voluntary basis.
Previous experience in the fuel industry is required and confined space qualification (preferred but not essential)
In return, you will be given a basic salary between £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience, with the potential to undertake other courses for progression and development.
