Customer Engagement Manager - Remote
Paying up to £55k + bonus, with remote working
A very exciting and unusual role. We're looking for Customer Engagement Manager to take lead on soft-outreach to prospects to introduce our client and their services. This is not about closing sales or target driven role - we are looking for someone who is happy to call up prospects and will use targeted-multitouch approaches to make prospects aware of our client and their offerings, whilst building relationships. You will be working closely with the marketing team to align business development strategies and then pass on qualified leads to the sales team. You will be the first point of contact with prospects, so we're looking for someone who is an excellent communicator and thrives on customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and engage with potential clients through tailored multi-touch outreach strategies (email, LinkedIn, cold calls, and social selling).
- Generate and qualify leads to build a strong pipeline for the sales team.
- Understand customer needs and challenges, offering practical solutions that align with the company's capabilities.
- Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospects' needs and pain points.
- Develop and execute personalized outreach campaigns to stay on the radar of high-potential prospects and nurture initial relationships to ensure long-term engagement. You will keep prospects informed about relevant products, services, and opportunities that could benefit them.
- Leverage CRM tools to track and manage lead interactions, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and optimize outreach strategies.
- Continuously test and iterate outreach methods to improve engagement rates and conversion.
What We're Looking For:
- Ideally someone with strong Business Development experience who has moved to more of a Customer Account / Success / Relationship Manager role.
- A confident communicator who enjoys building and maintaining relationships. You must have excellent English communication skills (both written and spoken)
- The ability to listen, understand, and provide thoughtful recommendations.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to managing customer relationships.
- A creative, strategic thinker who can personalize outreach and adapt to different buyer personas.
- A friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
