Inside Sales Executive

We have a unique and interesting opportunity with an international educational publishing company as an Inside sales Executive, to work within their successful Higher Education Sales team. This role offers a full training programme, given through an extensive sales skills scheme, to enable you to promote the company’s key products within Higher education institutions, within Europe.

This is a perfect role for a highly motivated individual looking to develop existing sales experience or a graduate looking to start their sales career. This is a remote working role, and candidates will need to be based in the UK, Germany or the Netherlands.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

  • The Inside sales Executive will be responsible for promoting learning products and will build strong working relationships with key Higher education organisations across Europe to promote all relevant course products in digital and print formats
  • Identifying and closing new business, and retaining and rolling out all existing business across Europe
  • Liaising with campus bookshops, highlighting relevant key new titles
  • Entering customer details and activity data onto the CRM system
  • Achieving revenue targets for the company within the European territory
  • Arranging and preparing presentations to key faculty decision makers across all levels and departments of Higher education Institutions

This is a great sales training opportunity where you will be mentored, along with a market leading Sales Skills Programme. The successful person for this role will ideally have some previous experience of consultative sales, or customer service experience and will have experience of using a CRM. Strong IT skills are essential along with great time management skills and the ability to work independently. Experience within higher education or publishing sales would be a bonus as would European language skills, ideally German.
