The position is for a DevOps Release Engineer with a focus on managing application build, release, and deployment processes in a hybrid working environment.
Candidates must have at least 5 years of demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to EIS policy admin systems.
The role requires hands-on experience with CI/CD solutions such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps, as well as a range of DevOps tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, is also essential for managing cloud-based infrastructure.
The salary for this position is competitive and will be discussed during the interview process.

We are working in partnership with one of our longest standing customers who are a household name in the Financial Services sector. We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Release Engineer to join the team working on a hybrid basis.

DevOps Release Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced and result driven DevOps Release Engineer to work as part of a cross-functional team, with hands on experience working within the software development lifecycle. This role heavily focuses on day-to-day management of application build, release and deploy aspects to deliver faster and safer continuous high-quality software to business.

Main Responsibilities as DevOps Release Engineer:

Take ownership of creating and maintaining exiting CI/CD solutions (Jenkins & Azure DevOps) to meet build, test, release and deploy & security requirements.
Manage and perform application build, package and software release management process to deploy to all environments
Hands on proven experience in developing standardised, automated build & release processes to support agile delivery methodology.

Skills and experience you need as DevOps Release Engineer:

Demonstrable experience (at least 5 years) as a DevOps Release Engineer or similar roles. Experience with EIS policy admin system will be highly desirable.
Proven experience and hands on experience with wide range of DevOps toolchain – Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Git / GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Selenium.
Experience with cloud technologies – Azure e.g. Kubernetes, App Services, Azure Functions etc. and proficiency in managing cloud-based infrastructure.
