We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installations and operations on a large-scale commercial project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of electricians, ensuring high-quality work, and maintaining safety and compliance with all regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of electricians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in a commercial setting.
- Ensure all electrical work is performed in compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the electrical team.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
- Prepare and review reports on electrical progress and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and resources deployed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that arise on-site.
- Ensure the electrical team adheres to strict safety guidelines and risk assessments.
Qualifications:
- Gold ECS card
- SSSTS / SMSTS
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, ideally with experience on commercial projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience with electrical installation, maintenance, and testing.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with different teams.
- Full UK driver’s license
