Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager to lead key projects with an industry-leading high-end manufacturer, operating across various industries involved in advanced engineering projects.

The role involves planning, coordination, and ensuring project deliverables align with scope, budget, and timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and communicate project plans with internal teams and clients to meet expectations.
  • Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and budget control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely solutions are implemented and communicated effectively.
  • Organise and chair project meetings, both internally and with external stakeholders, to maintain alignment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure clarity and traceability.
  • Drive quality standards and continuous improvement across project management processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Monitor supply chain performance and resolve any challenges affecting project timelines or budgets.
  • Support junior team members by assigning tasks and providing guidance based on their skills and experience.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or similar).
  • Proven project management experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, including planning and prioritizing resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office.

Desirable (not essential)

  • Experience in power electronics or related manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with quality standards like ISO9001 or IATF16949.
  • Knowledge of advanced problem-solving techniques (e.g., FMEA, 8D).
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Experience in managing multi-discipline projects and resource planning.
