Your new companyAn international group based in North Hampshire is seeking a fluent French-speaking Internal Controls Specialist to work on a hybrid arrangement with 2 days a week in the office and with 15-25% international travel (primarily France.) [The role could also be based in France with travel to the UK.]Your new roleYou will plan, test, report and deliver on internal controls review.Perform walk-throughs of processes with companies to verify responses provided to questionnaires.Support companies to remediate control GAPS identified by designing and implementing efficient and, where possible, standardised controls.You will provide support and guidance on SOX management, including implementation of controls, review controls design, review Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) etc.Work closely with key stakeholders including Internal and External Auditors.Ensuring robust controls over User Access for key systems used across the GroupEnsuring appropriate controls are designed to prevent and monitor Segregation of Duties risks across the Group.Work as part of a project team to achieve better systematisation of user access controls Work as part of a team to revise and improve monitor controls over User access, such as controls for Joiners, Movers and Leavers and Periodic Reviews of User access.Apply principles of user access controls to other key systems across the group and work as advisor to system administrators to drive segregation of duties.Build effective working relationships across the business.Keep up to date on applicable laws and regulations, and industry best practice.Travel to different sites when needed - maximum of 25% of the time What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) and either looking for a move into the Commercial Sector, with experience of testing controls in large corporate organisations, or have current experience within an Internal Controls team in the Commercial/Industrial Sector already.
