Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Document Controller to manage and organize documentation processes for a leading residential developer. This role involves ensuring project documents are accurately maintained and accessible, supporting project teams with the use of Viewpoint software.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all activities related to document control, including technical documents, drawings, and correspondence.
- Input and maintain document data in standard registers with accuracy.
- Ensure controlled copies of approved documents are distributed to appropriate staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Issue, receive, and track controlled documentation, creating electronic transmittals as needed.
- Support the document control team through issue tracking and handover processes.
- Maintain accurate registers, action lists, and endorse corporate content management systems.
- Act as the focal point for team document management matters.
- Assist in coordinating document management policies, protocols, and practices across projects.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in document control, preferably in the construction sector.
- Familiarity with Viewpoint software.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices and standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
