Specialist Teaching Assistant, Basingstoke/HampshireWe are seeking Specialist Teaching Assistants looking for a new role for the new year!Academics are recruiting on behalf of a specialist school set in a semi-rural location just outside of Basingstoke, Hampshire, catering for children and young people aged 4 to 19 years. If you have experience working with children that have a diagnosis of ASD, SLD and additional needs then this role could be the one for you. As a Specialist Teaching Assistant at this school you must be a patient, energetic members of staff who have a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and want to make a real difference to their lives! Due to the needs of the students, ideally you will have relevant, recent experience or qualifications, we will consider candidates qualified in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology but other subjects will also be considered. However... this could also be suited to people who have experience working in a mainstream primary setting, as the school follows parts of the primary curriculum.
