Prospero Teaching are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to work within one of our fantastic schools from after the half-term break. The successful candidate will be required to work Mondays, Tuesdays and likely Wednesdays on a long-term/permanent basis. They will be working closely with teachers to support the development and learning of students, and contributing to the creation and maintenance of a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be involved with:
- Supporting children with special educational needs in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Assisting with classroom preparation, resource development, and maintaining a safe, organised learning environment.
- Being part of a team committed to creating a positive learning experience for all children.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications/ requirements:
- Previous experience working within a school setting (desirable but not essential).
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable but not essential).
- A relevant qualification in Education or Childcare (Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous).

- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide references upon request
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
