Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Winchester

We are looking for a dedicated, full-time Unqualified Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream school in Winchester. If you’re enthusiastic about education and keen to support students in their learning, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

About the Role:

As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will support students aged 11-16, including those with additional learning needs. Working alongside experienced teachers, you will help create an engaging and supportive learning environment. You will provide one-on-one and small group support, assist with classroom activities, and collaborate with staff to ensure each student reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in providing academic support to students aged 11-16, particularly those who need extra help.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to reinforce learning and build student confidence.
  • Help students stay engaged during lessons and assist with their overall progress.
  • Foster positive, inclusive relationships with students, creating a motivating learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Support the school’s commitment to the overall development of students in and outside of the classroom.
