About The Role:

Work with & support the businesses Environmental, Social & Governance members and other business stakeholders in order to deliver all aspect of the Environmental management plan and all environmental initiatives across key business impact areas. You will support the creation and promotion of the businesses ESG activities and tools aimed at transforming the business to achieve sustainability & environmental improvements to the business, our customers, our employees and our communities.

The role will provide administrative support for activities intended to provide the business with the tools and guidance they require, collate and input data related to GHG emissions, drive excellence and care to the communities in which they operate. This role will involve engaging with internal and other stakeholders on ESG environmental activities, conducting research, delivering on initiatives to support their business and clients.

This role will specialise in the topics of energy usage, energy efficiency, waste generation, carbon emissions and climate action.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, collate, input and manage large amounts of data relating to the organisations Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 GHG emissions.
  • Support implementation of ESG business monitoring processes.
  • Manage testing of new ESG protocols and pilot programs before full implementation.
  • Coordinate and administrate business transformation activities (workshops, meetings, projects etc.) in line with the business's Environmental Management Plan (EMP) long term strategy.
  • Supervise the Employee Engagement activities on environmental sustainability and develop internal relationships to raise awareness on ESG matters.
  • Support management with the preparation and delivery of environmental reporting, including annual company energy usage and associated emissions reporting, company disclosures with tenders, ESG related prequalification's, Eco Vadis and similar.
  • Support the development of new ESG solutions, referencing sustainability standards and frameworks such as the GHG Protocol, UN SDGs, PRI, and GRESB.
  • Develop and maintain positive, strong working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders via phone, email and meetings, always practicing good teamwork in support of day-to-day operating requirements.
  • Identify, propose and support delivery on building efficiency projects to drive energy efficiency and carbon footprint reduction, ensuring projects results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.
  • Conduct desktop research, analyse findings, tracking industry policy positions, provide updates and keep up to date on topics of expertise and act as the point of reference for them within ESG team and contribute to effective ways of storing and sharing t

  • Input into company strategies and workshops on environmental sustainability.
  • Perform Ad hoc support with wider ESG activities, including Supply-Chain Management, Waste or circular economy, and C02-reduction.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills (including the use of Excel), monitoring and reporting, and communication/presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and data management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex strategies eloquently and in a simple visual format.
  • Broad knowledge of ESG integration and understanding of key ESG issues and their relevance to the business.
  • Ability to react to problems and resolve them on own initiative.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, particularly ISO14001 and ISO50001 and ability to conduct audits.
