Assistant Manager - Food-led Pub - Winchester - Circa £28k + Tips
The role:
An Assistant Manager is required for this high end food-led pub in central Winchester. This pub is part of a small group that believes in excellent food and great customer service. The pub serves fresh food and tasty cocktails. They are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support the pub and team in moving forward.. The successful candidate will work 5/7 days to include evenings and weekends.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Hands on management of the food-led pub
* Serve food and cocktails
* Back office tasks including stock management in absence of Manager
* Run shifts and be customer focused at all times
* Develop and train the team
* Instil ideas to drive the business forward
* Implement marketing ideas including promotions
* Deal with customer queries and complaints
What you need to get the job:
* Experience at Supervisory or Assistant Manager level
* Ideally from a quality food led pub environment
* Some rooms knowledge is advantageous
* Big personality
* Energised to bring in new business
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
