We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join our client's dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The Finance Analyst will be instrumental in providing accurate financial data and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Analyse financial data and create financial models for decision support.
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  • Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimisation.
  • Recommend actions by analysing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
  • Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Finance Analyst.
  • Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
  • Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
  • Good business acumen.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
