Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll ensure that financial and regulatory reporting is watertight, collaborate with key stakeholders, and play a crucial role in reviewing complex contracts. With hybrid working (3-4 days from home), a 10% bonus, and excellent company benefits, this is a contract worth considering.Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
  • Owning and managing the regulatory accounting process, ensuring financial transactions are correctly segmented and allocated for compliance
  • Regularly assessing complex contracts to ensure correct accounting treatment and provisioning
  • Stakeholder engagement – liaising with finance, commercial and operational teams to ensure regulatory models align with cost and revenue bases
  • Technical accounting guidance – keeping up with evolving accounting principles and audit requirements, offering technical insights
  • Preparing and managing two sets of regulatory accounts, liaising with external auditors and regulators to handle queries and adjustments
  • Sense checking the work of a Finance Analyst, ensuring data integrity and accuracy in reporting
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Compliance Finance Manager / Finance Manager / Financial Reporting Accountant / Technical Accountant / Financial Controller / Finance Director / Financial Accountant / Compliance Accountant
  • To be qualified in ACA or ACCA with post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience in regulatory finance and compliance
  • An investigative and challenger mindset with strong stakeholder management skills
  • A track record of working to tight deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills
