  • Overseeing and controlling all aspects of the finance department
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans in collaboration with the CEO
  • Preparing annual budgets and monitoring performance against targets
  • Undertaking company secretarial duties, including legal and regulatory compliance
  • Building and maintaining relationships with shareholders, including reporting and raising investment when needed
  • Driving profitability through improved margins and cost management
  • Leading refinancing initiatives and preparing the business for future opportunities
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Director / Financial Controller / Director of Finance / Head of Finance / Finance Manager
  • A proven background as a Finance Director in SMEs or a Financial Controller ready to step up
  • A hands-on, change-driven approach with experience in operational and commercial decision-making
  • A qualified accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA
  • High-growth, private equity, or venture capital-backed experience is highly desirable
  • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to influence at all levels
