CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be partnering with a well-established, acquisitive and growing business near Winchester, to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager.

This role offers excellent flexibility, with only two days per week in the office, and the opportunity to be a key player in driving financial reporting excellence and process improvements across the organisation.

What will the Financial Reporting Manager role involve?
  • Lead on balance sheet integrity and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely information flows to the wider business.
  • Prepare and review key month-end journals, including payroll, stock, GRNI, and expenses.
  • Manage and mentor two Junior Financial Accountants.
  • Support process improvement initiatives, including automation and simplification projects.
  • Oversee statutory reporting, VAT, PSA, and corporation tax returns in collaboration with the Head of Financial Accounting.
  • Support the integration of acquisitions and ensure smooth accounting transitions.
  • Partner with the wider finance team to drive efficiencies and best practices.
Suitable candidate for the Financial Reporting Manager vacancy:
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally with experience in IFRS.
  • Previous experience in a large, fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
  • Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel.
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills.
