Freight Coordinator

Freight Coordinator - Winchester - Up to 33,000

A Freight Coordinator is required for a multi-site, global Logistics company based in Winchester.

The Operations Coordinator MUST have experience in Freight handling and know the start-to-finish process including customs.

Package:

• Salary: Up to 25,000 - 33,000

The Role:

• Manage the day-to-day bookings of worldwide freight shipments
• Invoice jobs on completion
• Extensive supplier liaison and negotiation
• Internal liaison with the sales team assisting with quotations and service status information
• Raising job files and all of the appropriate paperwork
• Process the jobs utilising the in-house software system
• Customs entries for all goods

Requirements:

• Freight experience essential
• Customs entries experience essential
• Knowledge on Imports and/or Exports
• Software knowledge - Netfreight or similar
