Sonic Summary

We are seeking a DV Cleared SCCM/WSUS Design SME for a 6-month onsite position in Hook, with a pay rate of £500 per day outside IR35.
The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of Service Design experience and be skilled in producing various design documentation artefacts for medium to large scale Software Distribution solutions.
Expert-level skills in Configuration Manager Current Branch, App-V, VDI Gold Image, WSUS, and SQL are required, along with strong Windows Server and OS deployment skills.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders while also being capable of working independently and possessing excellent communication skills.
The role involves supporting a major IT transformation program, requiring a deep understanding of network protocols and ITIL practices.

DV Cleared SCCM/WSUS Design SME

location: Hook onsite

Pay rate: £500p/d outside ir35

Hours: standard office hours Monday to Friday

Duration: 6 months

We have an exciting opportunity for a position of SCCM/WSUS Design SME to join the team. Our client is focused on a major transformation program of their IT estate. The candidate will need to work with Key stakeholders to help solution the transformation stream.

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years prior Service Design experience of designing enterprise solutions and have the ability to produce design documentation artefacts including high level designs, low level designs, installation and operation guides as well as technical notes and knowledge base documentation within medium to large scale Software Distribution solutions.

Candidate must have EXPERT level skills in all aspects of the product set including:

Configuration Manager Current Branch.
App-V (packaging and distribution – standalone and integrated).
VDI Gold Image.
Deployment and ongoing management of Office 2013, 2016 and O365.
Infrastructure design and installation.
WSUS
OSD/MDT
Good all round SQL skills (including complex query authoring)
OS skills to include Windows Server 2012, Windows 7 & Windows 10 for building, configuration and deployment.

Essential Skills

Prototyping of server & desktop builds with SCCM.
Use of Configuration Management system to update and retrieve software and config data.
Team player but can also work unsupervised.
Expert level diagnostic and logical fault-finding skills to a 4th line level.
Understating of network protocols (e.g. HTTP, HTTPS, TCP etc...) and associated technologies (e.g. AD, GPO’s, SSL, IIS, WDS).
Exposure and working knowledge of both physical and virtual environments.
Virtual infrastructure skills, administration for templates, clones and virtual disks
PowerShell
Awareness of ITIL practices and processes
Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to confidently converse across all levels of management
