Prospero Teaching are seeking to appoint a full-time HLTA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing student's learning experience by providing high-quality support across various year groups. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is enthusiastic, proactive, and passionate about education.

About the Role:

As a HLTA you will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in collaboration with class teachers.
  • Lead small group sessions and interventions to support pupil's learning.
  • Cover classes when required, ensuring a seamless learning experience.
  • Support the development of lesson plans and resources.
  • Provide pastoral care and promote positive behaviour among students.
  • Assist with the assessment of pupil progress and identifying areas for development.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications:

    • A recognised HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (ESSENTIAL)
    • Previous experience working within a primary or secondary school setting (DESIRABLE)

To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references upon request
  • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
