Our client in Winchester are looking for a Inspection Assistant to join their team on a temp to perm basis in the Quality Control Department. Whether you have previous experience in electrical testing or looking for a new opportunity, with training and progression opportunities, this could be the perfect role for you!
The main duty of this role will entail the Inspection of Electrical products, both physical wiring checks and electrical testing. Experience in this field would be desired but not essential as all training will be given.
Duties:
- Inspection of products in line with quality plans to ensure conformance (mechanical, dimensional, aesthetic, and electrical checks).
- Inspection of electrical compliance of products, both physical wiring checks and electrical testing (Hi-pot, Earth bonding, Etc.).
- Working closely with the Goods-in and Warehouse teams to ensure incoming shipments are processed efficiently.
- Generation of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) for suppliers/sub-contractors and internal departments.
- Function as a Quality representative to support all other business activities and departments as required.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous Production or Mechanical Experience
- Previous experience using hand/power tools
- Experience with electrical working environments would be advantageous but not essential.
- IT Literate (Word and Excel).
- Highly motivated, self starter, looking for career advancement and sees opportunity to grow with the business.
Offer:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am to 4:45pm (with a 45 min un-paid break)
- £12.60ph on agency - uplifted to £13.15ph once perm
- Overtime is dependant on demand but would only be offered after successful probation
- 3 Month Minimum Temp to Perm
