Hours of Work

Full Time: 35 hours per week, 9.00-5.00pm Monday to Friday.

In this role, you'll

  • Take charge of a varied caseload of litigation matters, offering expert legal advice andrepresentation in court, during mediation, and settlement negotiations.
  • Draft and manage key legal documents, ensuring compliance and accuracy at every stage.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and build winning strategies to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Be the trusted point of contact for clients, keeping them updated, offering reassurance, andguiding them through the litigation process.
  • Prepare for and represent clients at trials, hearings, and other key proceedings, collaboratingclosely with witnesses, experts, and clients.
  • Assist in driving the firm's growth through business development and networking, workingwith a team that values creativity and initiative.Your caseload would include:
  • Property Litigation: Handle complex boundary disputes, landlord-tenant issues, andleasehold enfranchisement.
  • Commercial Disputes: Get involved in high-stakes contract disputes, shareholderdisagreements, and professional negligence cases.
  • Debt Recovery: Manage all aspects of debt recovery, from initial demand to enforcement.
  • General Civil Litigation: Work on diverse cases such as defective products
  • (e.g., motor yachts) and insolvency disputes, ensuring clients receive the best possible outcomes.

Who Are We Looking For:

We’re seeking an ambitious Solicitor or Legal Executive with ideally 3-5 years PQE in propertylitigation. If you’re a confident, client-focused self-starter who enjoys managing a variety ofchallenging cases, we’d love to hear from you. Strong communication skills, the ability to jugglemultiple priorities, and a solid billing record are essential.Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Deep knowledge of civil litigation procedures and experience managing cases from start toresolution.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time-management skills, with a proven ability tomeet deadlines.
  • Excellent client care and communication skills - you’re someone who builds trust anddelivers great service.
  • Proficient in case management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A natural problem-solver with solid negotiation skills.
