Job Title: Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer

Location: Winchester, Hampshire

Salary: £37,000 - £39,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Are you a skilled engineer with experience in mechanical and electrical systems?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive Mobile Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team, providing essential maintenance and reactive support across a range of building services engineering systems. This role is based in Winchester, Hampshire, and offers a competitive salary between £37,000 - £39,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Carry out routine maintenance on mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with site task schedules and CAFM system.
  • Reactive Maintenance: Respond to reactive maintenance calls, swiftly resolving plant faults and defects to keep systems operational.
  • Legionella Control & Fire Alarm Testing: Perform Legionella control and monitoring activities, and carry out regular fire alarm tests to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Work in line with company health and safety policies, ensuring the proper use of PPE, and following Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks. Report accidents and near misses in a timely manner.
  • Equipment & Tool Management: Ensure all tools and test equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and fit for purpose, with regular checks to ensure safe operation.
  • Proactive Problem Solving: Identify areas for improvement on-site and take necessary actions to enhance plant efficiency and reduce downtime.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience in both mechanical and electrical maintenance within a building services environment.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to react swiftly to urgent maintenance issues.
  • Previous experience with Legionella control and fire alarm testing is desirable.
  • A proactive approach to maintenance, with a focus on improving plant performance.
