About the Role

To provide support to the Reduced Hours Provision (RHP) Officer and be the first point of contact for RHP process queries from schools, parents and other agencies, either by telephone or email. You will be expected to process, and quality assure RHP returns from schools, highlighting cases of concern to the RHP Officer.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • Answering telephone and inbox reduced hours provision enquiries from schools and parents
  • Producing and formatting spreadsheets to be sent to schools to help support school RHP returns, carefully
  • Recording involvements and case notes on Capita One
  • Case work involving direct support to RHP Officer
  • Manipulating reports for onwards use for the RHP Officer
  • Work closely with colleagues across the Inclusion Support Service to ensure the best outcome for our children or young people

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Highly organised with a professional attitude and enjoy working within a busy team.
  • Competent IT/keyboard and administrative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality and GDPR regulations.
  • The ability to work with sensitivity and humour in a fast paced and often demanding role.
  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent. Experience of working in a school environment preferable.
