The Role

The key responsibility of this role is to be the internal focal point for ensuring and executing quality design analysis.

Provide scheduling and tasking information to the senior project team

Work alongside design engineers to ensure designs are fit for purpose and identify design solutions

Authoring and checking design analysis documentation.

Positively influence designs during conceptual/scheme stages while considering improvements such as design for manufacture and cost reduction.

You

Degree/HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline or equivalent

Chartered Engineer (IMechE, IET) preferred

Demonstrable track record in stress analysis and hand calculation using Mathcad.

Strong working knowledge of BS EN 13001 or BS 2573 parts 1&2 and Eurocode 3.

The ability to review and interrogate a mechanical design to determine all inputs required for design analysis
