Stock Condition Surveyor Contract Opportunity via BRC Jobs:                Stock Condition Surveyor    Location:        Hampshire (Hybrid Working) Sector:            Property and Housing Job Type:        Temporary  Hourly Rate:   £30 PAYE or £34 Umbrella   Are you looking for your next contract role in the Social Housing sector?We are looking for a stock condition surveyor on an on-going contract to support a local authority in carrying out surveys on their existing stock  Main Responsibilities:  
  1. You will be covering a patch of properties in Hampshire, carrying out stock condition surveys to; general needs housing, temporary accommodation, sheltered units and extra-care units. As well as leased and non-operational assets
  2. Utilising tablets to assist in carrying out stock condition surveys to the housing stock. You will be detailing the remaining lifespan of key components such as kitchens and bathrooms
  3. Where possible, to support in producing EPCs across housing stock
  4. You will also be assessing the properties’ exteriors, identifying defects and writing up reports on required works
  5. Review the lifecycle and renewing of windows, doors, kitchens, bathrooms and general cyclical decorations
  6. undertake risk assessments in accordance with the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and action any findings as appropriate.
  7. Upload surveys onto asset management system each week and work closely with the team to address any urgent requirements
  Job Requirements
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • HND/HNC in surveying or previous experience in a similar role
  Desirable
  • DEA Qualification
