Our client, a reputable name in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Workshop Operative to join their team in Winchester on a temp to perm basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product finishing, including brass polishing, chemical finishing (bronzing), and spray painting
- Assembly tasks such as assembling electronics
- Operating machining tools, such as pillar drills, lathes, and various hand tools
- Performing bonding activities, including welding and soldering
Job Requirements:
- Understanding of metal finishing processes
- Experience in product assembly and operating workshop machinery
- Solid grasp of bonding techniques like welding and soldering
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Willingness to undergo training to broaden skillset
- Ability to work collaboratively with workshop team leaders and the production manager
